SOLARASP DEMO VERSION - dRAFT

SOLARASP is a failure detection and diagnosis tool for PV systems. It is based on the estimation and supervision of a set of parameters characterizing the State of Health of a PV section (ASPs -Array State Parameters). With this aim, it requires monitoring data of PV section electrical performance (operating DC voltage and current) and of its working conditions (global tilted irradiance (GTI) and module temperature). The analysis of these ASPs along the time, as well as the comparative analysis with the neighbours and with the initial design specifications, allows to detect and categorize different failure modes,  without the need of a previously labelled dataset. Furthermore, since these ASPs have a physical meaning, energy losses related to any detected deviation can be also estimated.
